Physician Gary Slutkin spent a decade fighting tuberculosis, cholera and AIDS epidemics in Africa. When he returned to the United States, he thought he’d escape brutal epidemic deaths. But then he began to look more carefully at gun violence, noting that its spread followed the patterns of infectious diseases. A mind-flipping look at a problem that too many communities have accepted as a given. We’ve reversed the impact of so many diseases, says Slutkin, and we can do the same with violence. My video review of the Radeon R9 280X, Radeon R9 270X and Radeon R7 260X! AMD has just released the 200 series of graphics cards vs Nvidia GTX 650Ti Boost, GTX 760 and GTX 770 GPUs. I go over benchmarks with games like Crysis 3, Battlefield 3 and Metro: Last Light to see how fast and powerful for gaming PCs the new AMD Radeon graphics cards are as well as the features like TrueAudio, ports, comparison with Radeon 7790, Radeon 7870 and Radeon 7970 and CrossFire.

For testing a system with an Intel Core i5-4670k, 8GB 1600MHz RAM, Asus Z87-Plus motherboard, 500GB hard drive and 600W power supply was used. All tests were run under Windows 8 with the latest AMD Catalyst 13.11 drivers on a 1920×1080 HD monitor.
