Centuries of inequality can’t be solved with access to technology alone — we need to connect people with training and support too, says tech inclusionist ‘Gbenga Sesan. Sharing the work behind the Paradigm Initiative, a social enterprise in Nigeria that’s empowering young people with digital resources and skills, Sesan details a vision for creating life-changing opportunities for generations of people across Africa.

How did Nintendo break the mold? How did a company that made Cards 140 years learn to dominate in the console market without officially participating in the very public and resource sapping console wars? We believe it is strategy, vision, and patience.
Nintendo has been in business long enough to know its identity. When you truly know yourself, then you can look for the appropriate mate. In life, like in business, you attract what you are. And what Nintendo is is a fun loving machine. We at The Gamer couldn’t tell you how many TERAFLOPS the Switch has, if any, and if you’re concerned about that kind of thing, you probably wouldn’t be looking in Nintendo’s direction at playtime. And the feeling would be mutual.
Nintendo is like a group of kids – just looking for a good time. And it provides. It finds ways to entertain, innovate and (sometimes) educate. It’s not necessarily looking to impress or wow you with numbers, but with an overall experience. Maybe inventing and selling Hanafuda cards over the years has familiarized Nintendo with ways people get together and play, and it’s going to spend its companies long life investing, marketing, and selling to the fun lovers of the world, rather than fight over the best of the best seekers that Microsoft and Sony are fighting over.

The #ChevroletBolt was the first electric vehicle to come to market about 5 years ago that could achieve over 200 miles of range without the luxury car price tag of a Tesla. For 2022, Chevy is introducing a heavily tweaked version of the #BoltEV along with a new family member called the #BoltEUV. Still only available with a single front motor making 200 HP, the #ChevroletBoltEUV can travel 250 miles on a full charge, add 95 miles of range in 10 mins at a DC fast charger, and give buyers way more space in the rear seat from the regular #ChevyBolt. It goes on sale this summer at a base price of $31,995 with the #EUV version adding $2,000.
