Why do people want to hunt elephants? Alex Crawford joined a professional hunter and his client to find out what drives them to kill such magnificent creatures. They both broke down in tears after needing seven shots to kill an elephant they had spent four days tracking.
They see it as a form of conservation, telling us ‘We kill them because we love them’. So, is elephant hunting a legitimate form of conservation or a cruel blood sport?
