The iPad 2 is now much faster with the addition of a dual core 1GHz Apple A5 processor and a bump to 512MB of RAM. However does that carry over to a speed boost compared to the iPod touch 4G in Safari and in opening apps?

Photo Booth for the iPad 2 is very similar to Photo Booth for the Mac. It is a simple app that allows you to overlay various effects over the front and rear facing cameras.

Safari is the web browser on the iPad 2 and it does a good job of viewing normal, non-Flash websites.

Safari for the iPad 2 is similar to on the iPad 1 however with the addition of iOS 4.3 which increases Javascript performance along with the new dual core 1GHz Apple A5 CPU web browsing is really quite snappy with the new iPad. It’s slightly held back by a few minor text glitches and the lack of Flash.
