http://www.ted.com Taylor Wilson believes nuclear fusion is a solution to our future energy needs, and that kids can change the world. And he knows something about both of those: When he was 14, he built a working fusion reactor in his parents’ garage. Now 17, he takes the TED stage to tell (the short version of) his story.

I haven’t done one of these in a while, but this video should give you a good idea of the physical characteristics of these latest graphics cards including (especially) their lengths relative to each other.
I cover these topics briefly in my full video review of this product, but here I go a little bit more in depth on the power and temperature characteristics of the GTX 680 compared to its closest competitors, and I also take a look at its acoustic (sound) performance compared to the Radeon HD 7970.

At stock speeds, the GTX 680 crushes the HD 7970 in my testing, but once both cards are overclocked to their limits (using stock voltage) the gap narrows significantly!
This unboxing actually has most of the NVIDIA-approved messaging to do with the features and advantages of the GTX 680. If you want to see my own impressions, you can check out any of my other GTX 680 videos which are also available. The search string “Linus GTX 680” should get most of it 🙂
So I’ll spoil the surprise (I often do) about this card. It pretty much roxx0r your boxx0r. Great performance, great acoustics, and great power consumption. It’s hard to go wrong with a GTX 680
