Dungeons & Dragons with The Dungeon Run

For All you Dungeons & Dragons fans out there, IGN would like to introduce you to The Dungeon Run.

From our friends at Caffeine, The Dungeon Run is a weekly stream of the classic tabletop RPG, Dungeons and Dragons, featuring Jeff Cannata as the Dungeon Master. This episode will follow Jeff (the DM) and his merry band of tabletop roleplayers as he leads them on an original quest full of DND stories that are sure to keep viewers at the edge of their seats.

Unfortunately, because of COVID-19, these usually tabletop games are now being played remotely, but that doesn’t hinder any of the exciting Dungeons and Dragons gameplay.

In case you’ve been living under a rock for the last forty-odd years or don’t like board games, Dungeons and Dragons (a.k. D&D or DnD) is a fantasy roleplaying game, published by Wizards of the Coast, where the Dungeon Master prepares a campaign and rules that direct the players through the story as they roll dice and work together to try overcome the challenges posed by the plot. For more information on Dungeons and Dragons, new players should check out the Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition Players Handbook (which also goes by DND 5e).

How to Make Homemade Ice Cream #WithMe | At Home Recipes | Allrecipes.com

Ingredients:
1 cup maple syrup, divided
8 egg yolks
3 cups half-and-half
1 cup heavy cream
1 pinch salt
1 tablespoon vanilla extract (optional)

Directions:
1. Whisk 1/2 cup maple syrup and egg yolks together in a medium bowl. Set aside.
2. Stir remaining maple syrup, half-and-half, cream, and salt together in a medium saucepan. Heat over medium-high heat, stirring often, until simmering. Reduce heat to medium.
3. Add about 1/2 cup of the hot cream mixture to the egg mixture. Whisk constantly to prevent the eggs from cooking. Repeat with another 1/2 cup of the cream mixture. Pour egg mixture into the saucepan, stirring constantly with a heatproof spatula. Cook, stirring constantly, until custard thickens and coats the back of the spatula, 1 to 2 minutes longer. Remove from heat.
4. Strain custard through a fine-mesh sieve set over a clean bowl. Whisk in vanilla extract. Set the bowl in an ice bath and stir the custard occasionally until cooled to room temperature, 15 to 30 minutes.
5. Remove the bowl from the ice bath, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours, or overnight.
6. Churn cold custard in an ice cream maker, according to manufacturer’s instructions, until it reaches the consistency of soft serve. Serve right away or cover tightly with plastic wrap and freeze until firm.
