Billions of dollars have been spent on in-game content, but some individual purchases are a whole lot more expensive than others. Ever dreamed of owning your own house? Well, there are some players who have spent more on digital land deeds than on an actual house. This includes the game Entropia Universe where players have dropped thousands and thousands on a whole planet, an asteroid, and other elements. What’s the most you’ve ever paid for a Fortnite skin? Well, some players paid over a thousand bucks for a special skin that included a new charge every single month. Thanks a lot Samsung! And then there are some of the crazy bidding stories. Reddit has been home to bidding on digital items. The game Second Life includes a lot of real-life scenarios and fun worlds to explore with other avatars.
