In this video I do an unboxing and review of the Gateway ID49 series laptop, the ID49C07u. This Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit laptop features a 14″ 720p HD display, a 2.26GHz Intel Core i3 350M processor, Intel Integrated HD graphics, 500 GB hard drive, 4GB of DDR3 memory, dual layer DVD burner, integrated 802.11n Wi-Fi and a 1.3 megapixel webcam.

This laptop also has quite a few unique features including a glowing trackpad, a row of touch sensitive buttons, Dolby Home Theater Virtual Surround Sound, 4 USB 2.0 ports, HDMI out, a 6 cell battery along with a fantastic keyboard.

I discuss the performance of the laptop including for gaming using Urban Terror for a benchmark as well as HD video editing, battery life, webcam and portability.

Greenside – The Fights

Greenside, a biodome built in the wake of famine and poverty, houses the only cure for Jackson’s ill girlfriend, Acacia. In order to obtain it, Jackson must infiltrate the heavily fortified Greenside, under endless waves of Zero Troopers all commanded to destroy him!

This is a film that we completed last year. Believe it or not, neither Sam nor Niko actually went to film school, so this is the closest thing we’ve got to a student film.

We teamed up with our good friend Eric Lim to put this together. He produced it, and played the lead, and we took care of the shooting, directing, and editing.

This was all shot on the Sony FX-1 with a 35mm adapter, and we used Final Cut Pro for editing, and After Effects for the FX!

We’ll be making a tutorial in a few weeks showing you how to do some awesome bullet hits similar to what we have here.
