Disney movies have gone through a lot of changes over the years. Prints have been restored, colors improved, and films have been remastered for better quality. In some cases, Disney was forced to completely re-edit their films due to censorship, complaints, and other weird reasons. See what Disney movies may be completely different from the way you remembered them in the past.

In the climactic scenes of Lilo and Stitch, Stich flies a spaceship around some mountains, but it was originally supposed to be a plane through some buildings. In the theatrical release of Aladdin, some song lyrics focused on a violent punishment, but they were removed for Home Video and soundtrack releases. In the Disney release of Melody Time, one of the main characters smokes cigarettes and his scenes were completed edited for home release. The Lion King has long been known for a scene featuring a pile of dust that spells a dirty word, but Disney has made sure to cover up the mistake in recent years. Another dirty moment came from The Little Mermaid when a happy priest with odd-looking knees was edited to be a lot more family-friendly. The extremely Goofy Movie features an odd-edit that removed a portion of the film viewers may have loosely associated with the September 11th terrorist attacks. The Good Dinosaur had voices recorded and a lot of work done on their film before everything was scrapped and they went back to the drawing board. Watch to see all of the re-edits and more Disney had to go through!
