The German chancellor told reporters in Dublin that the withdrawal agreement ,that has been rejected three times by the House of Commons, is a ‘fair balance’.
She also spoke of how a no-deal in Ireland could compromise the border as she compared the situation to her experiences in a divided Germany.
“I lived behind Iron Curtain for 34 years. I know what it is like when borders fall.”
