Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton emerged as the major winners after taking the majority of states in their respective presidential nomination contests on Super Tuesday.

The Republican presidential front runner took a major stride towards becoming his party’s White House nominee with seven victories after voting in 11 US states.

And former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton also won a commanding lead after victories in seven of the 11 states in the Democratic nomination.
