8 Infinity War Plot Holes That Slipped By Fans

We all saw and loved Infinity War by the looks of it but while the film is a technical Marvel and a testament to the writers and directors for juggling so much, there were still some honest plot holes that made it into the final cut. While it doesn’t diminish our appreciation of the film, it does stand out the more we think about it. For instance, how come Strange didn’t use a portal to remove Thanos’ glove on Titan? Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 mentioned that Gamora is the last of her kind, but that clearly isn’t the case in this film. There’s also an open error when talking about the continuuity between films, mainly the gauntlet that appeared in Ultron. Thor knows Thanos’ plan but doesn’t stop to help a friend in need when he returns to Earth and Gamora doesn’t go with the God of Thunder even though going with Star Lord makes no sense. Thanos’ overall plan also doesn’t make much sense when considering the alternatives and the Hulk waited a very long time to make himself known in the opening scene. Does the half the population being purged rule also apply to Asgard and Xander? How did Xander fall if Thanos didn’t have any Infinity Stones by the way? How come Dr. Strange didn’t try putting Thanos in a time loop? These questions about Infinity War may not keep us up at night, but they do stand out in an otherwise awesome and epic film.
